Joining the Cluster
Regular membership is open to any domestic business entity, institution, or institute registered in Hungary that operates along the value chain of the pharmaceutical industry, human biotechnology, and functional foods, and possesses research, development, manufacturing, or service capabilities in Hungary, as well as any domestic business entity, institution, or institute cooperating with such enterprises, and any domestic organization registered in Hungary related to the Cluster’s field of expertise that accepts these Articles of Association as binding upon itself, applies for membership, and is accepted by the Cluster’s Executive Board in accordance with these rules, and pays the membership fee prescribed in these Articles of Association and the agreed-upon consideration for the services utilized. Furthermore, they accept the terms of cooperation set forth in this document and comply with the principles and rules defined therein; they are committed to the realization of the jointly defined goals and strategy, and contribute to the successful operation of the Cluster through their commitment, activities, expertise, experience, and social capital. Membership and acceptance of members are voluntary.
Admission to the Cluster as a regular member is effected by a written declaration in which the representative of the joining organization declares that they recognize the Cluster’s Organizational and Operational Regulations as binding upon themselves, undertake to cooperate actively and pay the membership fee, and provide the necessary information.
Regular membership is established upon acceptance of the application by the Cluster Executive Board and payment of the first annual membership fee.
The cluster management organization is required to compile and maintain a membership register of the cluster’s members. This must include the cluster member’s name, registered office, scope of activities, the start date of membership, and the name(s) of the person(s) authorized to make statements on behalf of the business entity regarding matters related to membership.
Cluster members are required to report any changes to the information recorded about them in the membership register and database in writing within one month of the change.
